Become an outstanding Tech Lead

The Lead Ramp Up Program is an innovative program designed to enrich the qualification of outstanding professional Technical Leads in the OutSystems Platform by providing them with the skills needed to design, develop and test web and mobile applications while promoting coordination and teamwork in the process.

This program is a thorough yet practical application of the OutSystems Core functionalities using an updated curriculum that provides a comprehensive understanding of how to design and develop with the OutSystems Platform and its various areas through challenges and related workshops.

The program is divided into 5 mandatory modules; OutSystems Development Foundations, OutSystems Development Consolidation, OutSystems Architecture, OutSystems Extensions & Integrations and OutSystems Dev Ops and 1 optional module, Post Training Growth.

Who should attend?

The OutSystems Lead Ramp Up program is designed for all Technical Leads, however it is particularly suited for those with at least one year or more of web projects experience (after finishing the Core Ramp Up program) or to Senior OutSystems developers.

Outcome

With the OutSystems Lead Ramp Up program, our customer will speed up theramp up of OutSystems Technical Leads who will master OutSystems advanced topics to start a project. During PostTraining Growth, the Technical Lead will be supported by our trainer.

Methodology

The OutSystems Lead Ramp Up program is designed for all Technical Leads, however it is particularly suited for those with at least one year or more of web projects experience (after finishing the Core Ramp Up program) or to Senior OutSystems developers.

Certification

The OutSystems Lead Ramp Up program has three assessments (one per module). A final score and an individual report will be delivered at the end of the two initial modules of the program.

OutSystems Architecture

The OutSystems Architecture module addresses OutSystems Architecture topics with the help of case studies, and a real world scenario to practice defining the Architecture of an Application from high-level requirements. The Discovery tool will be used to validate the resulting architecture. In the end of the module an assessment is performed.

OutSystems Extensions & Integrations

The OutSystems Extensions & Integrations module addresses integration with other systems. OutSystems Extensions & Integrations topics will be taught with the support of guided exercises on consuming/exposing web services; integrating with external databases (including joining with local entities) and integrating with existing .NET code. At the end of the module an assessment is performed.

OutSystems Dev Ops

The OutSystems Dev Ops module addresses dev ops and security topics with the help of targeted exercises on securing existing applications, as well as with LifeTime/Service Center exercises (including deployment, monitoring & troubleshooting applications and performance issues). At the end of the module an assessment is performed.

Post Training Growth (optional)

The OutSystems Multi-tenancy module addresses the use of a single application by multiple unrelated customers, supported by a guided exercise on how to create multi-tenant  applications from scratch and a small project to turn an existing single-tenant application into multi-tenant one (including tenant management functionality). At the end of the module an assessment is performed.
